We have been having lots of fun in Kindergarten since we have
got back from the holiday break! We have been continuing to learn our letters,
sounds, and words in reading! In science, we learned about day and night and
now in social studies we are learning about Martin Luther King Jr. and his
contributions to the world! Next week we will begin discussing persuasive
writing and practicing it as well! In math we are examining 2D and 3D shapes. Today in class we had a fun snack of cheese
balls (spheres), cheese cubes (cubes), Bugles (cones), and Combos (Cylinders)!
Before we ate them each student graphed how many they had of each shape! It was
fun and delicious! Thanks for reading about what is going on and we will keep
