Holiday Happenings

I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving Holiday! We kicked off the holiday with a great start by having a wonderful Thanksgiving program! We hope you enjoyed it! We have been busy as usual since returning to school. The students have been working on informational writing, shapes, and even gravity! Today we had so much fun going on a shape hunt in Ms. Chandler's classroom. We finished our shape scavenger hunt by making all of the shapes we learned about with Twizzlers. All of the students did an excellent job! This coming week we will be learning about 3d shapes, writing step by step directions of how to do things such as how to pack up a backpack, day and night, as well as learning about Holidays around the world and how they are celebrated! There is also our Holiday party coming up and our Holiday Program which you can get the dates and times from the newsletter sent home every Friday!

We have been learning about counting, motion, letter sounds and blending words just to name a few! This month we have been learning about numbers and place value, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and informational writing! We are getting very excited about our Thanksgiving Program coming up on November 19th. We have been having so much fun learning our Thanksgiving songs and singing them! We hope to see you there!
